I had red itchy eyes for months and my regular eye doctor kept saying it was seasonal allergies. Dr. Carrere, after 1 visit and exam, determined that I was allergic to the eye drops I was using for my glaucoma. During a checkup after using the new glaucoma drops, he discovered that I had the beginning of macular degeneration. He was very informative about how it will progress. Dr. Carrere is very thorough and takes his time during your appointment. I would highly recommend Advanced Eye Institute.

I have seen both Dr. Arceneaux and Dr. Carrere, and I am highly satisfied with both. Dr. Carrere discovered that I had the start of a cataract when I questioned getting LASIK done. He also discovered during the appointment with my mother, that she has the beginning of a hereditary eye disease and explained I would probably also have this issue due to my mother and paternal grandmother having it. He was very informative about the eye disease by giving us information regarding it. I would highly recommend Advanced Eye Institute.

I have worn glasses and contact lenses all of my life. I finally bit the bullet and scheduled a LASIK consultation with Dr. Arceneaux. He was very thorough with giving me details of the process and what I should expect. He told me in order to get the best results and measurements I needed to be out of my contacts for several weeks. This made me feel very comfortable that he didn’t just jump into it. After the procedure, I am now 20/20, and the difference is amazing!
